Ravishing Red Smoothie Bowl

Ravishing Red Smoothie Bowl

Creamy, delicious smoothie bowls are currently all the rage in the health world. They make an amazing breakfast or lunch and are pretty much like ice cream, but healthy. I’m telling you to have ice cream for breakfast. This recipe was so delicious and easy I couldn’t not share the recipe! Only 5 ingredients make up this smoothie bowl in the base:

Frozen Banana
Frozen Raspberries
Natural Peanut Butter
Chia Seeds
Unsweetened Almond Milk

It really doesn’t get any easier than that. Whenever you have bananas that are going a little brown, peel and chop them and put the banana chips into a baggie in the freezer. Perfect smoothie makers, my friends. With the frozen banana, you really don’t need ice, creating a much more rich and creamy texture. Raspberries are loaded with antioxidants and are filled with fiber. They’re also naturally lower in sugar than other fruits. Adding chia here really gives a nice protein punch along with the natural peanut butter’s healthy fats, creating a well rounded breakfast. Feel free to grab a piece of whole grain toast with avocado, too, if you still need another little something!
