ACV Power

ACV Power

Apple Cider Vinegar is something I incorporate into my everyday life in many different ways that I’d like to share with you. It really is so powerful, anti-inflammatory, alkalizing (which means it balances your body’s natural equilibrium and pH), and detoxifying. It has also shown in studies to aid in weight loss with 2 added teaspoons per day.

ACV and it’s alkalizing powers are so important in our modern world, as most foods in the Standard American Diet (SAD) are highly acidic and cause us to have a lack of energy and fatigue.  ACV benefits go further by breaking down mucus in the lymph nodes, demonstrating it’s effectiveness against many allergies.

It also helps to alter the intestinal gut bacteria positively and can fight against candida, creating a healthy flora, which is becoming more widely recognized as a major contributing factor in the overall state of health of our entire bodies.

Adding 1-2 teaspoons to a tall glass of water (depending on the strength you can tolerate), or taking a shot of it followed by a tall glass of water are two great ways to incorporate ACV into your daily routine.

ACV even works great as a hair rinse, which I incorporated into my shower routine with amazing benefits! It really creates a great shine.  Simply add 1/4 cup ACV to 2 cups of water for a large container’s worth, and pour a few tablespoons over your hair after your conditioner.  The ACV smell will dissipate as your hair dries!  Looking for a great face toner? Take 1 part ACV and 2 parts water to create a natural and detoxifying toner that will balance the pH of your skin.

I always recommend Bragg’s Organic Unpasteurized ACV that still contains the ‘mother’ and all of the natural enzymes ACV has to offer. I hope with these tips you can start incorporating Apple Cider Vinegar into your everyday life!
