Easy Watermelon Mint Chiller

Easy Watermelon Mint Chiller

I can’t think of anything more refreshing than these flavors combined into a light yet delicious slushy, especially as summer is approaching. Watermelon is so refreshing in the summertime especially at a barbecue, or after a long day in the sun or a long run.

It’s so hydrating and nourishing with natural sugars and loads of Vitamin A, C, and potassium. Mint pairs deliciously well with watermelon to create a winning combo.

Easy Watermelon Mint Chiller

Serves 1

What you need: a high speed blender

Ingredients:

-1 cup of cubed watermelon
-1 1/2 cups of water or coconut water to boost the hydration level
-1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves
-4 ice cubes

Method:

After washing the mint, spin it back and forth between your hands to release the natural oils. Remove the leaves. Meanwhile, place all of the other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the mint leaves and enjoy in the summer sun!

As you can see, I couldn’t resist drinking most of it before I snapped a photo!
